Claude Code Crab

A desk-sized crab with a backpack and a laptop. Print file and full-colour digital model, both in one download.

The model itself, simplified for the web. The file you get is the full-resolution one.

Art: the model was generated with AI (Tripo) from the Claude Code mascot art, which is Anthropic's and not ours; the grey views are renders of the file itself. · Fan work — the mesh is ours to share for personal use and remixing; the character is Anthropic's and is not licensed here.

A round orange crab with one claw raised, a teal backpack over both shoulders and a laptop sticking out of the top of it. Four stubby legs, a smile, and the proportions of a vinyl toy. He prints at any size and renders in full colour straight out of the file.

Unofficial fan model. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic. "Claude", "Claude Code" and the Claude Code mascot are theirs, and the character design credit is entirely theirs. What you are buying is the mesh.

WHAT YOU GET

Claude Code Crab.stl — the print file. 1,916,677 triangles, one solid mesh, watertight, unscaled.

Digital pack (.zip) — full-resolution GLB at 1.9 million triangles, a 120,000-triangle GLB for web, AR and real-time, and the source OBJ. Colour is baked into all three.

Three reference views — front, side and back, at 1400px, rendered from the file itself. For painting, for kitbashing, or for drawing him yourself.

PRINTING

Unscaled, so you set the size: 100mm makes the desk figure, 32mm makes a table-sized one. The body needs no supports. The raised claw wants a little, or a slight tilt on the plate.

Watertight and checked in Blender before it shipped — no non-manifold edges, no loose vertices, normals facing out. It slices without a repair pass.

One colour looks right. If you swap filament there are two obvious places to do it: the backpack and the laptop.

RENDERING

Colour is per-vertex and baked into the mesh, so there are no textures and no UV maps — and none are missing. Anything that reads COLOR_0 opens him already orange: Blender, three.js, Godot, model-viewer, any glTF pipeline.

Centred on the origin and sitting flat on the ground plane. Y up in the GLB, +Z up in the OBJ and STL. One material, no rig. Drop it in a scene and it is done.

LICENCE

Print it, render it, remix it, sell prints of it. Don't re-sell the file as your own work, and don't present it as official Anthropic merchandise — it isn't, and it never was.
