The Candle School is The Table Candle's free school, for use at school and at home. There are no student accounts, no ads, no cookies for students (Teacher Desk uses one sign-in cookie), and no tracking. Games run in the browser and nothing a student does is sent anywhere, unless they join a class with their teacher's code: then only their scores go to that teacher, under a made-up seat name. We never ask for a child's name. To keep questions fresh, each device remembers which questions it has seen and its best scores; this stays on the device and can be cleared on the For Teachers page. The read-aloud buttons use the voice built into your device or browser.
